Here is your chance to do a one day Rifle Marksmanship clinic in Wells.
This is a simple 1 day event on how to use your rifle exceptionally well.
The goal of appleseed is to train riflemen (and riflewomen) to be able to engage targets out to 1/4 mile, accurately, changing positions and reloading all under a time limit.
To save time and money, we use scaled down targets at 25 meters to simulate a full size target at 1/4 mile. It is recommended to use a .22 rifle to save on ammo costs, but just about any rifle can be used.
If you can do this at the level of an expert on an Qualification Test, you will earn a Rifleman patch. If you can’t reach this score, we will work with you to get you up to speed.
Appleseed is an all volunteer rifle marksmanship program and as such is a bargain for a full day of training.
